Adios Peace Corps China!

I was saddened to learn the Peace Corps is terminating its China program this coming summer. I served there on two occasions with the Peace Corps Response program as a replacement for volunteers who terminated early. Here's a group of us with our Chinese counterparts. I'm upper left in the FITCH shirt.

It was a truly marvelous experience. You can read more about it in earlier posts. The coronavirus outbreak might hasten the final departure. Volunteers were temporarily withdrawn during the SARS epidemic.
