The B2
Christmas Walk
This hasn't been an abundantly cheery Christmas Eve--isolated from family and friends, no church services available, contemplating a gloomy Michigan night outside the window. I decided to go for a walk about 10:15 pm.

Soon after I started, the snow began, covering everything with a layer of white. The world turned magical, and the Christmas lights shown gloriously. Walked through the historic district enjoying the beauty. Going on 11:30, a woman exited one of the upscale house carrying boxes to her car. She might have wondered what this guy was doing wandering about by himself.
"Hello. Merry Christmas!" A friendly exchange from a socially distant space.
Under the circumstances, a very good night. Would have been nice to share it with somebody.
